Introducing the Dodec Begleri, a 12 sided dodecahedron that makes a great shape for begleri tricks. The 3D printed resin provides a good weight and durability for a lightweight set that is both kid and adult friendly. Since there is no metal, this set won't break glass if it goes flying off onto your phone or tv screen. The dodecahedron shape is easy to grip from the tapered top. 

In addition to begleri, you can roll the beads between your hands or on your skin for a massaging effect. This set provides more sensory play for neurodivergent minds than well-rounded beads. Since there are 3 beads per end, this set provides even more massaging sensory stimulation than the 18mm Dodec Begleri set. 

This set comes in at about 11.8g per set, which puts it into lightweight category, but absolutely playable for all begleri tricks. It may take some adjustment to lightweight sets if you are used to heavy metal sets like copper and brass, but doesn't take too long to adjust. 

Compared to the 18mm set(shown in comparison product photo), the 16mm Dodec beads offer a smaller beads but is still easy to grip and handle since the stack is longer, its sometimes easier to catch this after rolls. If you prefer 3 beads per end for a larger stack, or want to use it for more sensory exploration and massage, this would be the set to choose out of the two formats. In hand the weight is not really noticeable difference compared to the 18mm set.

Material:

Resin and its similar natural material amber from tree resin have been used for beads for ages. SLA 3D printing allows us to bring you resin products for your enjoyment without using traditional molds. In its raw unprotected/sealed form, it feels a lot like amber to the touch. It has a very similar weight and look to Ultem, but feels softer in the hand as its a much softer material. If protected and cared for, it will last for many years. Please keep it out of wet and harsh UV conditions for extended periods of time to prevent warping and causing it to become brittle from UV over curing. If you are concerned about UV over-exposure, please choose the Gloss finish, or apply your own clear coat with UV protection to the other finishes so you can experience the feel of raw resin before deciding to preserve it with a protection of choice. 

Finishing:
Matte - The Matte finish is wet sanded cured resin, which has the most sensory feedback of the two as its not completely polished. Some minor micro-surface imperfections from printing are left which create a nice sensory enhancement. It is less grippy than gloss. It is less translucent than gloss, but is still very pretty due to the translucence.
